The Gym Peoples wants you to be fully satisfied with every purchase from our store. Please review our return policy below to understand the guidelines and process for receiving a refund or exchange on eligible items.
This return policy applies only to items purchased directly from The Gym Peoples through our website, mobile app, by phone, or at our retail locations. For purchases from third-party retailers, please refer to their individual return policies.
By making a purchase from The Gym Peoples, you agree to the terms of this return policy. If you have any questions, please contact our customer service team before placing an order.
Returns Process
If you wish to return an eligible item purchased directly from The Gym Peoples, please take the following steps:
- Contact our customer service team within 30 days of receiving your shipment and provide your order information.
- We will determine if the item is eligible for return based on the criteria outlined below. For eligible returns, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label and instructions on how and where to send the item.
- Please follow the return instructions carefully, including repackaging the item with any accessories, tags, materials received, and adhering the provided return label on the outside of the package. Keep the tracking number for reference.
- Once the return is received at our processing facility, we will inspect the merchandise. An approved refund will be issued within approximately 5 business days of receiving the return.
Important: Do not attempt returning items to any The Gym Peoples retail stores, as the store will not be able to accept or process the return. Follow the return instructions provided to ensure proper and timely processing.
Return Eligibility
Items that are eligible for return include:
- Unworn, unwashed, and unused items in new condition with original tags and packaging.
- Items damaged upon delivery or have other quality issues as covered under our standard warranty.
- Incorrectly shipped items different from your original order.
The following types of items are ineligible for return:
- Any used, worn, soiled, or altered items. This includes items that show signs of makeup or deodorant.
- Custom, personalized, monogrammed, or embroidered items.
- Bundles, multi-packs, or promotional sets where any component is missing.
- Compression undergarments, shapewear, and hosiery for hygiene reasons.
- Clearance or sale items marked final sale.
All returns must be initiated within 30 days of receiving the shipment. We reserve the right to decline a return or provide a partial refund if an item is not in original new condition upon inspection.
Refund Types
Once we receive and inspect the return, an approved refund will be issued via the original payment method:
- Purchases made via credit card: Refunded to the original credit card provided at the time of purchase. This can take 2 billing cycles depending on the bank.
- PayPal purchases: Refund issued back to the PayPal account used for payment. Usually appears within 1 business day.
- Store credit or gift card redemptions: Amount is credited back to the original store credit or gift card used.
For eligible returns in new unused condition, we refund the full purchase amount minus the original shipping fees, which are non-refundable.
If a return is due to our error (defective, damaged, or inaccurately shipped items), we refund the full purchase amount and original shipping costs once verified.
Exchanges
If your return is due to receiving a defective, damaged, or incorrectly shipped item, please contact customer service so we can ship a replacement to you at our cost.
For all other cases, The Gym Peoples does not currently offer direct exchanges. You may return unwanted items for a refund and place a new order for the desired product or size.
We cannot guarantee availability of inventory for reordering. Pricing and promotions are also subject to change. Additional shipping fees will apply for the new order.
Return Shipping Costs
For eligible returns of unused items in original new condition, The Gym Peoples will provide a prepaid return shipping label via email. Please use the approved return address on the label.
For other returns due to buyer’s remorse, sizing issues, etc. the customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. If return shipping is not prepaid, we deduct the shipping fees from the refund amount.
We strongly recommend returning items with a tracked, insured carrier in case of loss. The Gym Peoples is not liable for lost or missing return packages not initiated through our return process.
Refused Returns
If a return shipment comes back to us after being refused by the recipient or marked undeliverable, the customer must set up a new return request for us to re-send a prepaid shipping label. We cannot issue refunds for orders refused after leaving our return facility.
If we already issued a refund in error before an attempted return delivery is completed, the refund amount will be reversed from the payment method.
Unrecoverable Returns
In some cases, a return shipment may become lost or unrecoverable in transit and never make it back to The Gym Peoples after leaving the customer. If a return delivery cannot be located after 30 days of initiating the return, we will work with the shipping carrier to officially declare the package lost and process a refund at that time once all research is exhausted.
Damaged or Defective Items
Please carefully inspect all merchandise immediately upon delivery and note any missing parts, damage, defects or other issues on the carrier’s bill of lading before signing. Contact us as soon as possible (within 3 business days ideally) if any problems are discovered after unpacking and inspecting an order.
For valid quality issues covered under our standard warranty, we will make reasonable efforts to find a resolution through repair, replacement, refund or partial refund.
Sale and Clearance Items
All sale, clearance and promotional items are final sale and ineligible for return for refund unless defective or mis-shipped. Contact us if you received a defective or incorrect clearance item and we will determine the appropriate resolution.
